Lifestream – the fabulous New Zealand superfood health company – launched their contemporary new look at a High Tea for health and beauty media, complete with a demonstration of cooking with wholefood products by their ambassador, nutritionalist and author, Janella Purcell.
We headed into Grey Lynn for the afternoon tea at a ridiculously gorgeous house with a pool that we all wanted to dive into to cool off in the Auckland humidity. I think we all agreed their next media event should actually be a Pool Party.
Their healthfood lines were presented in savoury and sweet snacks to taste, created by celebrity chef (from The Biggest Loser, and Good Chef/Bad Chef fame); nutritionist, naturopath and bestselling author, Janella Purcell. The new look packaging and logo will be in stores today on its 50 superfood and wholefood products.
Before healthy eating became really fashionable and the rest of us were giving each other scorched almonds for gifts and heating sausage rolls at parties, Lifestream was into sustainability and wellbeing – well before they were hashtags. Their lines cover the topics of Essential Nutrition, Natural Endurance, Optimum Digestion, Women’s Health, Enhanced Support, and Radiant Skin – so there really is something for everyone. They are all vegan, vegetarian and any organic ingredients are sourced from ethical, sustainable and high quality suppliers.
