"Wow these are awesome" said Danielle our tester as she put on Ultimate Ears earphones with her iPod. "I like it when you can put something on and you’re deaf to the world. They’re epic- I want to buy some."
Logitech Ultimate Ears noise-isolating earphones are available in New Zealand now for the first time meaning we all can listen to music like 75% of the world’s touring professional artists do. Founded in 1995 by Van Halen’s sound engineer, the brand is famous for creating the highest-quality in-ear monitors.
In Auckland last week, System Of A Down singer, Serj Tankian, used Ultimate Ears in-ear monitors when he collaborated with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra to reinterpret his album, Elect The Dead. “Ultimate Ears ear monitors are more snug than the others, allowing less stage volume to bleed in,” says Serj Tankian. “If you’ve ever heard my band close, you’ll realise that our stage volume is deafening.”
"They’re really comfortable" says Danielle. "I wore earplugs to bed for two years when my sister lived with me, so I’m really used to it. I’ve never had earplugs that don’t ever fall out of my ears – even if I pulled these by mistake, they stayed in."
"These have the best sound ever- I can totally get into the song."
