We get ready for back to school

I don’t want to frighten anyone, but it’s coming.

Not the zombie apocalypse, but for some, an event just as scary…

With the 2018 school year approaching with the speed of ants to a picnic, it’s about that time we cast our minds to getting ready for the first day back so it’s not a frantic rush at the last minute.

Not only is it less stressful to get it together now, it’s cheaper, as you save money buying it instore rather than at the school office. I would estimate our bill in store was 25% less than at the school office.

We headed into Warehouse Stationery Wairau Park for our backpacks, which the brand Kookie updates each year with trendy new looks – this year we got a Minecraft-style computer graphic bag and a shooting star bag – as well as all our stationery and lunch boxes.

I liked that they stock good brands such as Bic pens, as well as a cheap in-house brand so you can select if you want a brand leader or an affordable option for each item.

Time poor? At Warehouse Stationery, you can drop off your school list to your local store or submit it via email and they’ll pack it for you. If you drop off by 3pm it will be ready to go the following day.

They also offer a ‘Parents Price Promise’ – meaning if you find an identical stocked item on a quoted stationery list before 11th February 2018, they’ll beat it by 20%.

To help spread the cost, Warehouse Stationery also offers Part Pay via its online store – allowing customers to spread the cost over smaller, more manageable payment instalments with no transaction fees.
