She is a finalist in the 2006 L’Oréal Colour Trophy in the Young Colourist category for stylists who have worked for less than five years.

Slim and fashionable and 22 this July, Danielle surprisingly- for a hair dresser- has natural hair; loose blonde curls looking like a young Meryl Streep crossed with Meg Ryan. Her father is Polish and they are the only Orawiecs in New Zealand. “We’re all girls so the name will die out with us.” I suggest convincing her future husband to change his name so the line continues.

Today, Dannii wears a black ruched neckline top from Supre accessorized with a silvery chain necklace from Bling, with cuffed black shorts. “I like these shorts, they’re cute!”

Dannii teams her shorts for winter season with grey stripey tights and slouchy ankle boots from Vixen. Her silver bangle is from Jeans West.

And the best is for last…”The hair? It’s by me!”
