The Week On Thread Episode 101
In The Week On Thread Episode 101, the one hundred and first column of 2017, I showcase some pics of highlights in photos of what I’ve been doing for the past week in mid to late December 2017 around Auckland. It’s the highlights from my Instagram, which you can follow over at www.instagram.com/threadnz to see daily updates and what’s new.

Ferdinand the bull is now an adorabull animated film that the whole family will love. It tells the story of a bull who prefers flowers to fighting. It’s a heart-warming story of being true to yourself. Ferdinand movie is in cinemas this Boxing Day.
At the premiere of Pitch Perfect 3 tonight. Lots of laughs – a great girls movie.
Merry Pitchmas! Pitch Perfect 3 has sent me a chocolate Christmas tree with Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson decorations amongst the Ferrero Rocher.
I couldn’t resist the huge bunches of Christmas lillies for $5 at the green grocers. I love Christmas lillies!
This device looks perfect for anyone who takes lots of phone photos but never prints them out; the hp sprocket instantly prints 2×3″ photos on photo paper using the app and you can add stickers, text, emoji, and so on.
So tonight I went to the NZ premiere of Star Wars The Last Jedi, it was amazing! My dress by Zara.
At the Cantina After Party at the aptly-chosen Imperial Lane, after Star Wars The Last Jedi New Zealand premiere.
I’m on platters for Christmas day, then! This is actually my first attempt at a platter. I’ve loved Food Snob olives and stuffed peppers for ages now though! Cheers Sacred Hill Wines for the platter nibbles and Pinot Gris. Looks like it’s happy hour at Threadquarters.
I bought a huge box of apples for $1.99 and some Paneton pastry sheets, and made homemade apple pie, so good.
Popped into Zoe and Morgan jewellery at City Works and got 5 silver and gold rings; it’s not even the fifth day of Christmas yet.
Yum I’ve always wanted to try one of Jordan Rondel The Caker’s cake mixes; has anyone tried one? Thankyou Trilogy for the Everything Balm and Coconut Cake Mix.
Better late than never… I got a Christmas tree, its name is Chris Pine.
This looks like the perfect combinarion for Christmas; chocolates and wine, featuring the award-winning success story of New Zealand Takapoto Estate Central Otago Pinot Noir. Andy Anderson entered his first ever wine competition in London and took out TWO awards! It was a huge sensation. Can’t wait to try the Takapoto Estate.
How Christmassy is this- Living Nature Radiance oils have Frankincense oil in them! The botanical blend of rosehip, calendula, rose, and calendula oils treat dry skin and scars for the face or body with a floral fragrance.
A sparkling gift of Swarovski Crystal jewellery from The Greatest Showman movie which is in cinemas Boxing Day.
Yum! Who else loves wine and cheese? With nuts and honey? Best hamper ever, from Mission Estate winery with Marlborough artisan food producers Kaikoura Artisan Cheese, Harvest Glen roasted hazelnuts, and Fire Bees chili honey.
Costumes from the film The Greatest Showman, inside Auckland’s Civic Theatre at the Mew Zealand premiere this Wednesday night.
