Trelise Cooper at Britomart Fashion Sessions 2016
See our photos by Anupam Singh of the stunning Autumn Winter ’16 collections by COOP, Cooper, and Trelise Cooper at Britomart Fashion Sessions 2016.
Trelise Cooper‘s main line had inspiration drawing from 1920s Shanghai;, and a more streamlined seventies city girl, and offbeat colours and mix n match textures.
The inspiration of Shanghai, the so-called ‘Paris of the Orient’ drew on “an era of glitzy indulgence and romantic entanglements among socialites and divas, where opium dens were filled with silk devore, waterlily jacquards, and high-collared lace. Every piece is deliciously tactile, from feather motifs to wool embroidery and fun furs. The warm, ethereal colours come together in mesmerising combinations of lilac and olive; petrol and maroon.”
