What do you do when you need a new handbag?
Team with well known leather brand Konev, fashion a bag out of fish leather scraps, add a vibrant red lining and voila. That’s what you do if you’re style/colour consultant and Lucire fashion editor Samantha Hannah.
The rest of us mere mortals just go shopping. With that in mind I had a poke at the “In the Pond” 2010 collection she masterminded with Konev, inspired by the beauty of the Garden of Versailles.
Her bags are multi taskers and designed to suit all body types – you’ll never have the “Does this make me look fat” dilemma. The stylish totes and satchels are also designed for phones, laptops, notebook or pad storage in different shapes and sizes, not just for lippy at your evening cocktail party.
There are also wallets and credit card holders in many colours. It’s grand to finally have a good looking holdall that can go straight from business to pleasure – who said they can’t be mixed? The splash of red will brighten your day when you pop it open and the fish leather strips lend contrast and interest.
I’m confident, knowing that as a stylist consultant, Samantha will always ensure her bags make us look just as good as them – in other words her bag will not make you look like a bag. Now go out and conquer the world in style.
