No place like home

No lace doilies in THIS book; it’s all simple text, artfully displayed in nice typography and full page photography. No full pages of complex text; this is a pictorial guide for visual people.

It also feels easy to achieve. Jason Grant makes use – like a Womble- of things that everyday folk leave behind, as well as secondhand treasures, and what you already own put to advantage in clusters and groups of objects. He champions the imperfect and the inexpensive in real homes that aren’t palaces.

And that’s something we can all aspire to. Cheers, Mr Jason Grant. You can check out his blog at www.mrjasongrant.com and get more inspiration!

A Place Called Home by Jason Grant is out now from Hardie Grant Publishers for $49.99.
