Thread popped down to Aotea Centre for the Christmas market from the popular Auckland Art + Craft Fair on 8th December and shot our highlights from the world of local artisans, illustrators and all-round craftiness.
For a while now, the digital printers have been making a strong presence felt.
Prior to this, it was all about babushka dolls, owls and teacups but those days are waning.

My favourite thing of the whole market: Bobae necklace from bobaeshop.etsy.com designed by Lydia Bae. The word bobae is Korean for treasure.
