It seems you are a gloss fan or you’re not- I know I tend to wear more matte shades as I have long hair that gets stuck in gloss – but I cannot deny the Power of The Shiny Lip. A glossy, shiny, lip looks fuller and more moisturised and also appears more youthful than a matte mouth, and its appeal is obvious. Rimmel London has just released ‘Oh My Gloss’ going for the youthful market with a play on words of its OMG name and names that appeal to the young-at-heart such as Snog and Ooh La La. Thee new-generation glosses aren’t sticky anymore – they have a non-sticky, lightweight formula and are moisturising for lips with Argan Oil and Vitamin E. These glosses come in six shades: clear, nude, mauve, palest pink, pink and red, and retail for a user-friendly $14.50 from Farmers from June 2015.
Also pictured above is Rimmel London’s new ScandalEyes XX-treme Volume and Length Mascara, which combines volume and length with an interesting brush that is flat on one side for length and curved on the other for volume. It comes in Henry Ford’s favourite colour and is available from Farmers, The Warehouse and Kmart from June, priced at $20.50.
