Benefit Push-Up Liner

The perfect liquid eyeliner is something of a beauty Holy Grail. For makeup artists, the discovery of a liquid liner that doesn’t smudge or budge and is easy to apply is the horticulturalist’s equivalent of the blue rose. It just doesn’t exist. Until now.

I attended the the launch of Benefit Push-Up Liner in Smith & Caughey’s, Auckland, where I learned an interesting fact: Benefit They’re Real mascara is the number one selling product on the beauty floor.

For lovers of black liquid liner, you’ll love Benefit Push-Up Liner. I’ve worn it all day and have zero panda eyes.

Below: the photobooth at the launch was themed as a police station, complete with police cops in uniform on hand, to tie in with the campaign slogan of If Easy was a Crime she was Guilty.

My verdict? (in keeping with their crime theme)
My all-day eyeliner smudge test result: Similar to a felt tip liner in closeness to the lashline, but the biggest advantage in this product was no under eye smudging at all. Colour would be darker with two coats as it was less dark at night, so I will do two next time. No panda eyes on me.
