We try: Neutrogena’s beautifully clean-and-fresh feeling moisturising range, Hydro Boost.
This range actually came to to me at the end of winter, and it felt apt – a clean, fresh start that looked and felt like Spring was coming. The range has a very light and refreshing feeling but this lightness belies the fact that it is really effective. Its active ingredient is the skincare hero, hyaluronic acid- which it says can absorb up to 1,000 times its weight in water – that’s some powerful hydration qualities right there.
The main thing that struck me at first was the lovely packaging that looked classic and more expensive than its $30 pricetag. Next upon opening it, I was taken with its blue hue. Finally, the feel of it on the skin was incredibly refreshing and hydrating. There is a Water Gel moisturiser, a Gel SPF15 which is a gel cream with sun protection, a roller ball style Eye roll-On ($24.99) and lastly a Night Concentrate nightcream. The range is available from September at supermarkets, pharmacies and departments stores nationwide.

Below: The Night Concentrate nightcream – note the small blue dots in the clear gel – these are Vitamin E enriched beads.
The Eye Roll-on roller ball felt a-ma-zing on my tired eyes.
The SPF15 gel comes out this cool blue colour! Very light and refreshing.
