We take a look at the stunning new season beauty releases from Clarins for Spring 2015 which include Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils, Crayon Khol – Intense Green, Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector, Refreshing Mist, and new blush prodige.
Fix’ Make-up Refreshing Mist Long-Lasting Hold
This spritz-on mist is a cooling and refreshing spray that helps set makeup for a long-lasting matte complexion and leaves the skin feeling lovely and hydrated whilst oil-free formula makes skin supple. I have tried the MAC Fix spray and this seems similar but slightly more fragrant with a citrus-rose fragrance blend.
Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil
This time of year can play havoc with our lips, and mine have certainly been suffering from excessive dryness and the result? They are not at all ‘lipstick happy’. Clarins’ new lip comfort oils in a range of spring colours are brilliant for injecting some much needed moisture, with a texture that feels more like a gloss then an oil. With just a hint of colour, it’s a great way to keep your lips in good condition on those lipstick-free days and the smell is a great reminder that spring is not too far around the corner. Each 7ml oil retails for $42.
Clarins Crayon Khol Long-Lasting Eyepencil in Intense Green 09
A simple dash of coloured eyeliner is a great way to add some interest to your everyday make-up look and Clarins have some new great colour: Intense Green ($46) which is way outside the usual dark brown shades I favour. I was pleasantly surprised by the vibrant colour of this easy-to-apply dark green eye pencil. The brush on the end is great for blending and softening the lines and allows you to play around with the colour intensity with ease. I will be making the most of this new colour this winter.
Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector
One of my absolute favourite Clarins products, you can’t go wrong with this line of gorgeous lip balms ($38) which are so much more then a balm. With a wide range of beautiful spring colours, each balm softens and provides great colour in much the same way as the popular lip stains.
The 05 Red colour (not the most exciting name!) has been in my handbag ready for constant use for the last two weeks and is a great way to bring some much needed colour into my face without the heaviness of a matt red lipstick. It will be a perfect addition for spring but if you are into minimalist make-up then you will love this one now. Highly recommend.
A lineup of lips! Which shade do you like best? Instant Light Lip Balm Perfectors came in 01 Rose, 02 Coral, 03 My Pink, 04 Orange, 05 Red, and 06 Rosewood. Also pictured: Joli Rouge Brilliant Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick in 23 Rose Petal and Pink.
