The e-store’s first range will be the current AW2010 collection, entitled “A Song for Lara” inspired by the film Dr Zhivago with shapely, tailored garments finished with braided borders or epaulettes, zip detail on belts and sleeves, and especially designed woven wool tassels.
The site starts with a letter that you open and click on the collection.

I have this cream pure silk Bubble Dress and got lots of compliments on it the first time I wore it.
Designer Claire Barker says she wanted to offer women all over New Zealand greater choice and flexibility in the way they shop for her pieces, which marry a playful palette with fabrics that convey the ultimate in sophistication.
“These days we are all so busy we don’t often get the time to really look at and appreciate a garment before we buy it. Often we seize something in a hurry or we’re not able to access the one piece that did catch our eye. I hope my new e-store will bridge this gap and allow women the flexibility to shop in a way that is most convenient to them,” she says.
