Over the past two years, we have watched Sydenham’s shopping complex transform into a chic haven in Christchurch. Collective is the latest addition to the The Colombo and is the perfect fix for the premises. See The Colombo Precinct on Facebook here.
Collective is just that, a collective store where many of the designers have only had an online store before this. This makes for a unique combination of everything from beautiful fresh floral arrangements, to baby gifts, to clothing by numerous designers. I was blown away with how such a vast array of stock could blend together so wonderfully.

I had my eye on the gorgeous Dapper Mr Bear collection in store and will definitely be going back to pick up a few pieces for my little one. There’s several jewelry brands in store to fit everyone’s aesthetic, as well as a vast array of homeware and unique gift ideas.
Collective’s opening night was a huge event as the friends and family of the founding brands came together to celebrate this new movement in Christchurch. I definitely recommend going and visiting Collective, there’s something for everyone in store.
