A ship-shape new store opened on Cuba Street in central Wellington recently, with the advent of Emma Wallace’s second ’emma’ boutique opening its doors at 268 Cuba Street.
Guests were transported to a state of cruising, with summer breezes, holidays and packing perfect picnics with emma’s summer collection vacationer available at the opening.
Designer Emma Wallace says her Spring Summer 2011/12 collection, Vacationer, is inspired by holidays; a "Daydream of sailboats, beach parties, caravan trips and long, lazy summer evenings.
"There’s a 1970’s influence this season with the idea of cruising on The Love Boat wearing our Marissa maxi dress, high heel clogs and a tropical flower tucked in your hair… sounds just right for this summer!"
Te Mata wine flowed and coconut ice by Martha’s Pantry was enjoyed, in the shop decorated with gorgeous spring flowers by Flowers Manuela.
Window displays by Phoebe.
Ships in the night, a shoppers delight.
Congratulations to Emma Wallace with her second ’emma’ store gracing the Cuba Quarter.
