After much anticipation from fashion-lovers, H & M, Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), the international retailer known for fashion and quality at the best price in a sustainable way, has finally announced that the first New Zealand store will open its doors on 1st October, 2016.
H&M at Sylvia Park will be set out over two floors, spanning approximately 2,300 square metres within the popular shopping destination. The long-awaited store will provide a unique and exciting shopping experience for customers.
“We are excited to be making progress on our arrival in New Zealand and look forward to welcoming customers through the doors of H&M at Sylvia Park on the 1st of October,” says Hans Andersson, Country Manager for H&M Australia and New Zealand.
The store will showcase apparel and accessories concepts for Men, Women, Youth and Kids. The concepts will be available upon opening for fashion-forward New Zealanders wanting to add the latest trends to their wardrobe.
Alongside these concepts H&M at Sylvia Park will welcome the coveted H&M AW16 Studio collection that showed during Paris Fashion Week earlier in the year. H&M Studio is a collection of key seasonal pieces created by a dedicated in-house design team at H&M.
The store will also feature the Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham collection; a range of his favourite pieces from the H&M Men’s concept. The Modern Essentials collection encompasses a masculine and crisp colour palette, inspired by the rigour of urban architecture.
The first H&M New Zealand store will be located at Sylvia Park, 286 Mount Wellington Highway, Auckland. Doors will open to the public at 10.00am on Saturday 1st October 2016. Regular opening hours are Monday – Wednesday 9.00am – 7.00pm, Thursday – Friday 9.00am – 9.00pm and Saturday – Sunday 9.00am – 7.00pm.
