Karen Walker has moved the flagship store from O’Connell Street to downtown Auckland.
She’s opened in the shiny new The Pavilions retail-gardens development in Britomart and celebrated with a party on Monday 3rd December.
Conveniently, it’s right bam next door to the drive-through valet parking for the Britomart carpark where for $15 they will drive your car and park it for you.
Getting Karen Walker as a tenant is a fabulous anchor for the retail area, which is based around a garden concept that will change with the seasons. Other neighbouring shops are high-end fashion as well, with Trelise Cooper, Taylor, Bobbi Brown, Juliette Hogan and Kathryn Wilson all in shopping bag-throwing distance.
The boutique has her label, eyewear, and other hand-picked brands under ‘Playpark’, the shop adjacent to her store in Newmarket, where her favourite things from other international brands are sold. The store has a pink fit-out and gold filigree window dressing echoing her filigree eyewear range.
