Catwalk Studios is a Modelling and Fashion Retail training facility. For the past seven years we have groomed, develop and prepared new faces to enter the modelling industry, placing models with all the top modelling agents who some have gone on to become international models: Grace Hollows at Red 11, Ashika Pratt at NOVA, Derya at 62 Models, Maxence at Clyne and Shannon Ryan at C4.

Catwalk Studios provids a freelance modeling service hosted on the CWS website Industry Alerts, posting modelling jobs and auditions for charity fashion shows through to hair modelling events. The model is booked and managed directly by the client.

"For the past year following my travel to New York and photographing Four Seasons at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week I acknowledged the disparities in fashion retail customer service" says founder Amanda Bransgrove. "At home here I believed it was good timing with the recession to provide an avenue to upskill and improve customer service in fashion retail in New Zealand, obtaining GATEWAY funding through Auckland secondary schools to facilitate this."

"Catwalk Studios is now working toward aquiring NZQA crediting to support student learning to improve on the ‘fashion’ retail sector. Until now there is no standard for entry in the Fashion Apparel Industry. Catwalk Studios requires the ongoing support of the retailers, designers and stylists to offer work experience to expose fashion career pathways."

"I’m pretty excited" says Amanda. "I once talked of becoming a model agent, that was when I was 17 living in Cromwell, with aspirations of becoming a model first. lt’s true when you say life is a journey, it’s not the destination. I go to sleep and wake up every day loving my workload I have created."
