It is very difficult to think about new autumn/winter collections when it is so unbearably hot. But as with everything it is always important to start with the basics.

Moochi always provides the best of basics. Their garments have a good twist on the classics. Moochi’s new collection brings the best of the season’s muted tones together with subtle prints.

Prints are very big this year, and it’s important to have that one piece that can update a classic look. The Jessie top ($199.99) is very sweet tank style singlet with layered detail, and it looks great teamed with Moochi’s ‘the cate’ slip.

The entire range is perfect for mixing and matching. There are several colour stories with muted blues, nudes and blacks. The Blair dress is a winter must, with muted dark tones in a subtle print. This dress is perfectly teamed with the limited Cut out Heel shoe.

The limited range of boots, brogues and heels that have recently been released are sexy. The favourite is the Cut Out Heel at $399.99. It has a cut over the front and a zip-up at the back. Comfort level is maximum with these heels, making it very secure to walk around in. They make a great piece for autumn/winter, teaming them with wool stockings or socks when the chill settles.
