NZ Fashion Museum Online launched this week at www.nzfashionmuseum.org.nz and Thread headed along to the launch party Wednesday 31st July.
The museum features the photographic records of garments and accessories from the Fashion Museum’s prior exhibitions (Looking Terrific: The Story of El Jay, Black in Fashion and HOME SEWN) and video footage from the exhibitions.
The next physical and offline New Zealand Fashion Museum exhibition will be The Age of Aquarius: A 70s retrospective from 14 September – 13 October 2013 at the Geyser Building, 100 Parnell Road, Auckland. Following its Auckland debut, the exhibition will tour other centres in New Zealand.
It was a really interesting and informative evening plus the website/museum looks fantastic!
