Salisbury Boutique

Salisbury Boutique in Dunedin specialises in our next generation of labels – not only in fashion but jewllery, art and homewares too and their fabulous store is now online at www.salisburyboutique.co.nz

Salisbury Boutique was born out a love for Dunedin, heritage, design, fashion and quality New Zealand products.

Established in 2011, in Dunedin, Salisbury Boutique’s flagship boutique is located in the heart of the chic historic precinct at Salisbury House, 104 Bond Street.

Owned and operated by internationally-recognised archaeologists Hayden and Sheryl, Salisbury is the ultimate in destination shopping, specialising in top-quality, high-end NZ made design and fashion products.

Together they source New Zealand’s latest new designers and provide an outlet for New Zealand’s most fashion conscious to purchase tomorrow’s next big label today. Salisbury Boutique specialises in our next generation of labels.

Products are fashioned in limited numbers and are hard to find elsewhere. You may have seen several of the labels already gracing the cat walks of iD Fashion Week, Wellington Fashion Week and New Zealand Fashion Week, including Mister pictured below, on the catwalk at New Zealand Fashion Week.

Furthermore, Salisbury Boutique doesn’t just stock great labels created exclusively in New Zealand; they are also reinventing how to shop.

Salisbury emphasises and encourages people to see fashion as an investment and an experience to enjoy. Employing an innovative business model that “bucks the trend” and open Thursday and Friday evenings and all day Saturday until late, the shop is also open by appointment for private shopping and 24hr online at their fabulous website, www.salisburyboutique.co.nz

This unique boutique is also part of a bigger concept promoting business in Dunedin and New Zealand. Salisbury House is already home to a strong business collective that has encouraged young entrepreneurs to stay in New Zealand to start up their business.

Hayden and Sheryl are also involved personally and professionally in encouraging the refurbishment of character buildings in Dunedin’s historic Warehouse District. Thread loves that central to Salisbury Boutique’s business plan is the marketing of Dunedin as a leading centre of business innovation and design in addition to its already established reputation as a centre of creative fashion design.

To shop or know more, you can go to their internationally designed website www.salisburyboutique.co.nz which endeavours to share, promote, and purchase New Zealand’s fashion around the world. Utilising social media avenues, they take a modern approach to shopping and retail, engaging with a client’s daily and promoting other boutique businesses.
