Country Road’s fashionable older sister, Trenery, is showing up in NZ with the opening of the Trenery boutique in 277 Broadway in Newmarket on 4th August.
The Australian fashion label does both women’s and men’s wear and is curently available in its six Trenery stores in Australia.
Billed as "affordable luxury" they really do smart-casual and office wear to a T. It fills the niche left for Country Road’s customers who were growing up and slightly too mature for the more youthful change in flavour of Country Road’s new directional fashion approach in its rebranding in 2004. So Trenery was developed for these original customers who want stylish clothes but with a more flattering fit and always in high quality fabrics.
In addition to their NZ flagship store which joins the popular two storey Country Road store also in 277 Broadway, they are about to sell via their websites.
The launch of online shopping in August 2010 for both Country Road and Trenery will mean shoppers in both Australia and New Zealand will be able to buy both fashion labels delivered to their home.
