Friends and family were invited to a VIP evening at Starfish Willis Street in Wellington to launch the winter sale with a warming drop and Starfish’s eco-friendly and sustainably-produced winter wares on display.
Guests filled the fitting rooms as organics, tencels and mohair were tried on between sips of Ata Rangi Crimson Pinot Noir.
Our favourite is the Take Heart Slip for its print and colour especially when layered over the Take Wing Tee.
We also loved the coral colours of the collection. No wonder Wellingtonians can look good in their corporate wear.
Speaking with Sopheak Seng, Fashion Editor for Lucire, it was evident that “Colour is a big story for the season – corals, blue and purples accent your basic black and whites. I love Laurie’s use of colour and prints to tell a story and this collection is strong in her use of them.”
Guests left with the best-looking VIP goody bags, made out of recycled Meridian energy billboards and carpet offcuts. The laptop will wear that.
