Britomart Fashion Sessions Highlights held by Cooper and Company in Atrium on Takutai featuring Kathryn Wilson, Juliette Hogan, Trelise Cooper, Zambesi, World, Kate Sylvester and more…
Highlights from the Britomart Fashion Sessions held by Cooper and Company in association with Westpac on 1st and 2nd of March, featuring Kathryn Wilson, Juliette Hogan, Trelise Cooper, Zambesi, World, and Kate Sylvester in ticketed public shows, at $45 and $65 per ticket, including drinks, parking and generous goody bags.
Group shows on Saturday featured Co-Lab, Nike, Timberland, Onitsuka Tiger, Storeroom and Laundromat Boutique in ‘On the Street’, and Ted Baker, RJB Design and Taylor boutique in ‘On the Town’, both of which were free to all.
The in-season catwalk shows aimed at consumers, with MC Nick Dwyer encouraging us to go check out the clothes after the show in the nearby stores, as everything on the runway was available to buy that day. Some goody bags even included $50 vouchers towards a new Autumn/Winter garment.
Atrium on Takutai was a great choice of venue as well covered over from the weather, although the bass in Trelise’s show did somewhat reverberate through our bones off the glass windows. Office workers on lunchbreaks gathered around – standing entry was free of charge – and peered through office windows above down onto the action.

8.30pm It was time for my favourite show: Zambesi, Kate Sylvester, and World, with shoes by Lineage. This was fabulous, only improved by the jam-packed crowd of fashion fans all around in standing room only, which added to the energy and vibe of the show. The music was excellent, and the big screens made it easy to see details. I could see people talking and pointing at their favourite pieces on the catwalk.
