Newmarket’s Osborne Street turned into a fashion runway for four in-season consumer fashion shows today, as well as the final judging of the Face of Newmarket model search.

Local retailers with a mix of New Zealand and international brands showed current AW13 winter collections throughout the day on the raised catwalk in Osborne Street behind Rialto cinemas. Thread liked the use of a massive film screen to display which label was walking, and also close-ups of garments and models’ faces for all to see. After all, this was about selling clothes, and if you don’t know what you’re viewing, you can’t possibly go and buy it!
