Active
The first show for Day 4 was Haryono Setiadi. The beautiful fresh translucent dresses opened the show. Clean cut fabrics overlaid each other and endless watery colours of orange, yellow and blue on white gracefully flowed around the white studio space.
The tailoring and fabric manipulation was juxtaposed by the delicate art of embroidery and drapery.
Vibrant orange with soft aqua teal colours also created a vibrant and beautiful look. The pieces had structure and the translucent layers over layers created dimension and depth.
Sheer fabric tops were key features over colourful dresses. The overall collection was very light and delicate.
Dion Lee ll
The much anticipated Dion Lee II show drew the crowds as it was the debut showing of his second line. A theme that was strongly evident throughout the collection was the use of denim, seen in layered pieces, as sleeves, panels and paired with all-white outfits.
It was the fourth collection to feature pinstripes but also used a more graphic coloured stripe in red and also blue hues, that almost looked painted onto the fabric.
A favourite look of mine was an all-white look made up of a bomber and white skirt with a hint of silver. I also liked the oversized leather jacket with zip detailing. Overall, a solid and very wearable collection.
Suboo
Suboo displayed swimwear and ready-to-wear that showed signature clean lines and understated wearable silhouettes. Palm tree and floral inspired prints were made into bikinis with sheer jackets.
Black trimming and panels were used to frame the patterned fabrics.
The relaxed style dresses, tops and shorts are very wearable. Some favourites were the white sleeveless A-line top with wide leg shorts that created a chic and relaxed look. Also the black A-line dress with cut out pieces was fun and youthful.
Lan Yu
Lan Yu displayed beautiful luxurious wedding couture. The show was set up in a circle with a mixture of live models and mannequins.
The couture pieces were immaculate.
The intricate detailing took bridalwear to the next level.

Rio
Jayson Brunsdon’s collection was inspired by his love for Rio. He travels there every summer and brought the vibrant Carioca culture to the show. The collection celebrates a sexy femininity spiced with a rich Brazilian flavour. He focused on the liberal woman and expressed the vitality and sexual energy of the amazing city.
The outfits expressed energy, joy and fun. They displayed individuality that materialised into a beautiful collection that embraced the fun, juicy colours, the sensuality of bronzed skin, the rich greens of the palms, the freshness of the turquoise water, the tropical modernist architecture.
Models had beach-wet hair and the metallic fabrics and embroidery were rich and liberal.
Overall, Day 4 was another inspirational day filled with people that wanted to celebrate the event.
