With a blend of the edgy and the feminine, three of the country’s top fashion labels – Zambesi, Company of Strangers and Juliette Hogan – showcased their collections over lunch at Sofitel Auckland at the second-ever Designer Showcase Luncheon in conjunction with New Zealand Fashion Week.
Sofitel’s Executive Chef Scott Brown drew upon the New Zealand flavours of the fashion to design a special menu with each label walking after each of the courses. Guests bought tickets for $79 whch included the show, three course lunch and SOHO wine, and a goodybag with a So Sofitel spa massage voucher, Linden Leaves handcream, knit scarf from Company of Strangers and $5- vouchers from Juliette Hogan and Zambesi so guests could go straight off to Britomart and spend them after the show.
Faces were created by MAC Cosmetics, and hair by Servilles, on models from Red 11 Models.

I had a huge surprise at the lunch- for my birthday, Sofitel gave me the chance to open a bottle of Perrier Jouet Champagne – with a sword! It was an amazing and very memorable experience to say the least. The public can do it there anytime you buy a bottle, and you get the sword opening free, and they train you in what to do.

How gorgeous are they?! The Company of Strangers models from Red11 and I. I’m so loving the Company of Strangers print.
