We didn’t get to see it at fashion week, but we did at her in-season show. Karen Walker AW10 took to the catwalk under a row of marquees outside The Department Store along with Stolen Girlfriends Club for a runway show showcasing winter collections for over 200 VIPs at the party on Friday 19 March.
Takapuna’s hottest retail destination – recently named Monocle magazine’s no.1 retail store – became a runway for the night as guests enjoyed wine and Vitamin Water inside then spilled outside to the gap between the buildings at 10 Northcroft Street.
Guests were treated to the current Karen Walker collection which showed in New York last September 12th but not at NZ Fashion Week on September 22nd. The AW10 collection is now available instore.
Karen Walker Eyewear complemented the oft androgynous blazers teamed with nautical stripes and narrow trousers, sexed up with high, high heels.

The crowd of VIP customers, friends, fans and media lined the raised catwalk under white marquees alongside The Department store drive.
We love this hat ($159) and scarf ($150) knotted around the neck.
