Stolen Girlfriends Club still have a bone to pick with you.

In fact, more than one.

Their 2012 Spring Collection, ‘Me & Mrs Bones’, continues their fascination with all things skeletal and bony, with the skull and skeleton motif appearing in monochrome and multi-coloured prints, and appliqued on fabrics.

As well as staple black, the colour palette includes maroon, mustard, jade green and neutral nudes, along with the multi-coloured – almost psychedelic – Rhinestone Skull print. Timothy Leary would have worn this shirt to therapy.

The very first look on the catwalk was skeletal hands over the bust as though clasping her from behind.

Stolen says, "Hands on your hips."

One of the collection highlights was a pair of bony hands forming a belt buckle around a model’s waist.

My favourite look was this jade stretch knit and mesh dress. Stolen all grown up. It’s the lovechild of a Greek goddess and Herve Leger’s bandage dress.

Another variation on the dress, this time with black mesh and a plunging neckline.

This monochromatic snakeprint turned up in men’s shirts, and a women’s jumpsuit, below.

Beauty Note: Make-up by M.A.C Cosmetics featured a very strongly illuminated cheekbone, peachy cheeks, dramatic brown eyes, and softly pink lips. Hair, by Ryder, complemented the clothes with a sleek, pulled back ponytail.
