Thread is backstage at iD Dunedin Emerging Designers Show 2014 with Photographer, Connie McDonald, to ask iD’s Margo Barton about some of her favourite things.
One of the key people at iD Dunedin Fashion Week, Margo Barton is Academic Leader and Principal Lecturer in Fashion at the Department of Design, Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin New Zealand, and has been an iD Dunedin fashion committee member since 1999. Margo teaches in the fields of fashion design, fashion communication, and millinery, and she is currently undertaking her PhD in Fashion through Architecture and Design at RMIT University, Melbourne.
Thread heard Margo present at the lecture in Dunedin Art Gallery on 3rd April, showcasing the incredible images from the Shanghai Dunedin Sister City Fashion Project.
