Danish label Noa Noa has recently been introduced into the New Zealand market by Fashion Marketing Limited based in Wellington.
Recently a Noa Noa capsule collection was put together for a catwalk show at the Mother’s Day "Winterwonderland" fashion show. The show, fundraising for Mary Potter Hospice, was run in assocation with Samantha Hannah and Section Zero Models with overwhelming response and interest from guests.
Sopheak Seng, Sales and Marketing for FML says "Noa Noa is focused on producing contemporary fashion for the modern day woman. Clothing that is refined, independent and inspired by the bohemian lifestyle. It is all about soft, pretty, romantic, girly and whimsical styling."
"Currently FML have the Autumn 2011 range which will be in stores from January 2011 and this collection centres on three main themes: the classic vagabond, the great silk road and a modern day interpretation of Rococo styling."
Sopheak says that the trend for 2011 sees "more of a tighter silhouette focusing attention into nipped-in waists. Raw materials such as wool, cotton, and linen mix with silk, jersey and fine gossamer knits which create the overall Noa Noa look. Grey dominates the season in all shades but is paired back with dusty mauves, earthy burnt browns, burnt red, petroleum blues and spiced up with a shot of kenzo lime."
Sopheak says "Noa Noa is a favourite of celebrity stylist Gok Wan and you will also fall in love with it once you see it. It is a one stop shop as there are a multitude of matching accessories from scarves, hats, jewellery and brooches, to our winter favouites; chunky and fine knitted beanies in every imaginable colour."
Noa Noa will be stocked at all major centres around New Zealand. For your nearest stockist please get in contact with Fashion Marketing Ltd by emailing sopheak@fashionmarketing.co.nz or phone 04 499 6330.
