On Saturday November 21st the immaculate Kelliher Estate of Puketutu Island played host to this year’s exclusive Fashion Beauty Music event.

Promoted by Highlife Entertainment, Fashion Beauty Music sits anticipated on the events calendar, an evening renowned for its stunning decorations, impressively dressed people, and international musical acts and DJs setting the decadent atmosphere.

This year was no different – the venue was transformed into a high class wonderland, replete with high fashion, good looking people, and an energetic lineup keeping everybody on the dance floor; the champagne was flowing, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the night.

Kelliher Estate sits amidst the confines of what is congenially known as the Mangere Waste Water Treatment Plant, and the irony was not lost on us as we wandered our way to the venue having missed our shuttle bus.

It was an atypically humid Auckland night, which added to the tropical atmosphere of the island. The palm-lined setting was reminiscent of a scene from a teenage slasher flick, which built the suspense as we entered the venue itself. What greeted us was a well-lit, well-dressed, but rather sparsely populated affair at that point. The place could have done with a few more VIPs, and maybe a canapé or two, but the people we did meet were lovely, and overall we had a fun time.

Here are a few of the new friends we made on the night.

Rob and Christina, in Sass & Bide.

Perhaps the most stunning woman in the room, effortless style and grace.

This lovely singer lit up the stage with her high energy pop tunes.

Derhardt and Anthea.

All in all, the night was a success, Highlife can toast to another well-executed affair, and we’ll all look forward to whatever they have planned next!
