NZ maternity fashion brand Womama is supporting the Weta Workshop-inspired Project Born lingerie show, which premieres on the Wellington waterfront on 18 and 19 November.

The high-end lingerie fashion show, showcasing the stunning and contemporary Womama Welcome Home Collection, also includes dance, drama, music, and amazing creations from Weta Workshop. The show will challenge the standard catwalk show, creating a visual and aural masterpiece.

“As long time supporters of the Neonatal Trust we’re really pleased to be involved in helping to raise more funds for such a worthwhile cause. Its our way to celebrate motherhood,” says Heidi Holbrook, Director of Womama.
With 100% of the ticket price going directly to the Neonatal Trust NZ, the event is set to raise up to $100,000.

Womama’s Welcome Home Collection has been inspired by the comfort and confidence that comes from home with classic touches like vintage inspired lace, satin bows and the prettiest of patterns evoked by a garden in bloom.

“Our designs are inspired by nature,” says Heidi. “We use premium, natural fibres – like modal organic cotton, bamboo, silk and the finest New Zealand merino. These beautiful fabrics wash and wear well and feel luxurious next to skin.”
Also showcasing at Project Born will be lingerie from Elle MacPherson, Pleasure State and Macpherson Man.

The Neonatal Trust are a NZ based charitable trust who provide support to families of premature and sick full term babies as they make their journey through Neonatal Intensive Care, the transition home, and onwards.

Project Born in benefit of the Neonatal Trust NZ takes place at Mojo HQ (Shed 13) in Wellington next week on November 18 & 19. Limited tickets for the Friday show are available at www.born.org.nz. For more information on Womama visit www.womama.com
