The fashion highlight of Stella Artois Auckland Cup day is the prize giving for the best dressed couple. It was won by Jason and his wife Sharlene Rowling whose outfits pipped TV3 Reporter Kate Lynch and her newly engaged fiance, Andrew Gourdie from TV3 Sports, at the post.
Coincidentally, they all wore purple.

Brooke and Amber had some beer-pulling training in the Stella Artois tent.
The Cuvee Lawn seemed to be having the most fun. In fact by 3 o’clock a drunk man tripped over Anya onto the floor. Time for a juice, Mister.

Next, we stopped by the fabulous Gucci VIP Lounge- we couldn’t get in at first due to a visit by John Key. Sarah Paykel told us that he gave a short speech and gave some tongue in cheek tips for betting; on a horse called One News! When we got in an hour later, the women were gorgeous and canapes were fab especially the valrhona chocolate on bamboo sticks- to die for.
