This is one of those collections that grows on you. You might be forgiven for thinking at first glance that this brand is similar to some of the androgynous and deconstructed labels you see around, but you’d be mistaken. At first impression, the clothes seem deceptively shapeless but there are hidden treasures I keep noticing. Yes there’s layering, but it doesn’t seem to hide things underneath so much as add to them. There’s a soft translucency that gives the clothes some sensuality too so they’re not a shroud.
The shows themselves are also almost like a ritual of priests and priestesses moving slowly enacting some higher duty. This was made stronger with the chanting music, written on seat notes: “I lost my citadel, I lost my avarice, I forgot my penance, I forgot my pills, I lost my ticket, I lost my apparatus, I forgot my limit, I lost my cynicism, I lost my resistance, I lost my manifesto. www.eleven-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-bodyspelk.rest
