The Food Show Auckland 2014 – see our highlights in pictures of our picks of the best to see, drink, and eat.
The Food Show was on at ASB Showgrounds Thurs 31 Jul – Sun 3 August with the best of local artisan and boutique food (and a few commercial brands too.)
Below: some of our pics from our visit. All comments are by Toko, a professional cook and an amazing baker.
Good deals for subscriptions at the Dish magazine stand.
Heilala Vanilla had really good quality vanilla products.
Beautiful wrapping paper at $29.94 at Beewrapt to wrap bread, cheese and etc. So cute!
Gorgeous flowers in tea at FLORATEA.
It was my first time to see and try Pana Chocolate. Tried chocolate & goji which was their most popular; a delicious and rich chocolate flavour.
Chelsea Winter, NZ Master Chef was a beautiful and lovely lady.
Bird on a Wire: super delicious salad with free range chicken @$10!
Paneton’s stand had cute decorations and sold super yummy pastries at $2.50.
We love Ray McVinnie.
Chef of Barilla made fish & clam tomato pasta. Delicious!
Lovely Japanese couple in Nelson make healthy miso products. Umami-salt is good for marinating meat, fish & veges. Also delicious to make pickles, just mix with veges in a ziplock and leave in a fridge. Misomite is just used as Vegemite or Marmite.
Spent over $100! Organic coconut oil, chia seeds, Devonport chocolate drink, cheese, chocolate, baking tools, donuts, Loaf brownie, etc…
