Annabel Langbein, The Free Range Cook, drew crowds last week as the guest speaker, alongside John Perriam, at two sell-out events.

Organised by New Zealand Life & Leisure for whom she writes a regular feature, the South Island event was held at the venue affectionately known as The Shed located on Northburn Station, Central Otago.

Surrounded by vines in the dramatic yet tranquil setting, guests were served a two course lunch, accompanied by the station’s very own wine in the impressive hayloft and stable style building whilst listening to Annabel speak.

Annabel Langbein is a phenomenon in the world of food. She is one of New Zealand’s best-loved television personalities and one of our most famous exports.

Annabel has had huge success with her television series The Free Range Cook and has inspired people to spend more time enjoying cooking, sharing around the table and to start growing their own food.

The accompanying cookbook shares the secrets to cooking great food in a simple, natural way. Beautifully photographed around Annabel’s lakeside cabin in Central Otago, The Free Range Cook is much more than a recipe book. Recipes are organised according to their source; the Garden, the Farm, the Oven, the Larder, the Orchard, and from Lake and Sea. Interspersed throughout the book are the delicious menus that are featuring in the TV series. Copies were available for purchase and signed by Annabel as part of Friday’s event.

So for the perfect Christmas gift this year that you can enjoy with friends and family over and over, get your copy of “The Free Range Cook” ($59.99) or visit www.annabel-langbein.com to secure your copy for $50.00 and receive a free Eat Fresh DVD.
