Rekorderlig ‘Winter Lights’ pop-up bar is now open to the public to enjoy a cider cocktail and the Swedish surroundings at their bar on the corner of Fields Lane and Shortland Street, Auckland city…
Who doesn’t like Swedish design? From IKEA to ABBA they have the certain something going on – not to mention their incredible interior design taste and now, their cider.
Rekorderlig (pronounced with a silent g) is my personal favourite cider and comes in incredible fruit and spice flavours. Now, they have come to town literally with a pop-up bar in central Auckland that brings a taste of Scandinavia to the Antipodes.
Mid-century wooden furniture, rugs, plantings and specially-designed cider-based cocktails make up the ‘Winter Lights’ pop-up bar, now open to the public on the corner of Fields Lane and Shortland Street, Auckland city. There’s even snow, contributing to the winter wonderland atmosphere.
The bar is open for just ten days from 4pm to 11pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and 3pm to 10pm on Sundays between the 18th and 28th July 2013.
