There seem to be a lot of natural juices, and boutique brands – which I love – rather than the big multinatural food retailers at The Food Show so that’s a good thing.
Here are some of my highlights…
Left: The Elliotts juices not only taste divine, but their stall and hats were designed by artist Tanja Jade AKA Misery and it was one of the most gaily-presented at the whole event.
Another juice we loved was Pete’s Natural, which tastes like lemonade you used to squuze from lemons and make yourself. If you were any good. This is WAY better, and their front person was charming.
There were rows of smaller stalls in the artisan markets type area (but I wouldn’t brave it with a baby buggy!)
We chatted with Greer and Rebecca enjoying a girls day out at the Food Show. Greer said, "Our pick of the stalls was Aceto Downunder… Amazing balsamic vinegars and glazes. I didn’t see them there last year, although they may have been."
We noticed a trend in the new health products, such as coconut oils for healthy cooking. We bought a jar from this Samoa coconut oil stand.
As well as yoghurt, there were so many boutique brands of ice-cream. One that was new to me was Little Paddock Ice cream.
The Food Show – great for all ages!
