As the world rapidly hurtles towards technological advances, breakthoughs and discoveries, as we become more complicated and highly processed, there is a growing sector of society that is rebelling against this way of thinking, going back to the ways nature intended.
Once only the domain of those with an “alternative” lifestyle, an awareness of all things natural has become much more accepted, with lots of mainstream companies also following the environment/eco/organic trend.
A new entry to the fray is TRESemme, who have recently released their Naturals Collection. I tried the Naturals Radiant Care Shampoo and Conditioner for normal hair, and found that they were perfectly acceptable. Whilst my hair felt much like it would after using any other shampoo or conditioner at a similar price point (i.e. not expensive, salon-only brands), the day I used it a friend did comment on how shiny and healthy my hair was looking, and I loved the citrusy smell.
What these products have going for them that makes them stand out is their ingredient list. They contain such things as organic sweet orange oil, aloe vera and avocado extracts. The shampoo is lower in sulphates, and the conditioner is silicone free. They are hypoallergenic, free of dyes and safe to use on coloured hair.
The Finishing Spray comes in non-aerosol packaging, and also contains organic sweet orange extracts. Other products in this range include a shampoo and conditioner for dry or damaged hair, and a lightweight mousse.
It is great that there are products in the affordable price bracket ($9.97 – $14.13) that can give the consumer the option to “go natural” should they desire!
