Drawing on botanicals and nature with essence of Cassia flowers, Pantene launched its new range of hair products, Nature Fusion, today over breakfast at The Westin as we heard from Xanthe White, Tracey Dalton and Cliff Harvey.

The new range combines science with nature to create hair with fullness and shine using Pro-V to condition and strengthen hair against breakage. It also contains avocado oil, grapeseed extract, and bamboo.

Naturopath Cliff Harvey spoke on the link of science and nature- not as diametrically opposed as one often thinks. He says, "Nature provides and science explains."

Harvey works with the slogan, "mind body spirit medicine", and demonstrated the link between mind and body by having us close our eyes and imagine our face slowly smiling broadly in a mirror. On opening our eyes, we found we were actually smiling.

Tracey Dalton tied the use of botanicals in with the natural – and sometimes floral- looks on the Paris catwalks.

Below: Xanthe shows us the Cassia flower. Cassia is an ancient plant used for its detoxifying and purifying properties.
