Louise Pilkington’s Dry&Tea blow wave and tea house celebrated opening at the corner of Kent and York Streets in Newmarket last night with a packed-to-the-rafters party in the hair salon and courtyard cafe.
Dry bars are all the rage overseas and catching on here particularly in the main centres, so Louise is bang on trend opening this in busy Newmarket.
Louise’s holistic life approach, and a love of tea and massage and all things relaxing comes through in the selection on offer: teas by the fantastic T2 brand are sold at a courtyard garden cafe, and head massages are just an extra $15 added on to your hair service. Prices start at $25 for a dry style (no basin wash) or a discount book of 5 for $100, up to $40 for blow waves and ball up-dos from $65.
