Designer for salon stylists as well as the home user, the new ghd Air has already sold out its first shipment in NZ.
Beauty media got to see a demo of a blow-dry on model Widika at Mollies Hotel on Tuesday, 6th March, to see what makes Air so special.
The new hairdryer, which retails for $249, joins the incredibly popular ghd straighteners – or styler, as they are correctly known – in salons and homes. Now, the iconic is joined by the ionic.
The ghd Air has ionic technology for reduced frizz and a silkier looking end result. It has a salon-strength motor which dries 20% faster than other dryers and is half as noisy. I like the cool shot button for a blast of cold air at the end of each section to set it in place.

Remove 90% of the moisture (NOT all) before styling the hair and use a heat protector spray between each section (as opposed to all over the hair beforehand.)
