This year at iD Dunedin Fashion Week Redken introduced its NZ Salons to the internationally-renowned fashion, hair and inspiration event Tribe 2012.

Tribe 2012, held at Dunedin’s historic Larnach Castle, recognised New Zealand-based Redken salons for excellence and commitment to the salon industry during 2011 with the inaugural Club 5th Avenue Awards.

The big winner on the night was Auckland salon BLAZE, taking away The Salon of the Year Award. This is awarded to the Redken salon that demonstrates excellence in education, marketing and overall business achievement and growth.

"We’re really excited about this award, because it’s an acknowledgment for our BLAZE team – our staff and clients. The Blaze team have worked hard during the past year with successes in a number of industry-based competitions and have really embodied the BLAZE mantra of "be all you can be."
