I like the fact that I can treat my hair at home with Sukin’s new Botanical Protein Treatment whenever I want, rather than spending an extraordinary amount every few months at a salon…
We all do it and suffer the consequences…colouring our hair obsessively. Okay well not obsessively, but every few months if we are organised. This protein treatment from Sukin is billed as a ‘protein bar for your hair’. It is designed to infuse natural plant proteins into weak hair areas, so is particularly useful before and after any chemical processing that your hair
is about to undertake.
Apparently protein makes up around 85% of our hair. Who knew? So it makes sense to be fortifying it with additional protein supplements. I guess it is like keeping ourselves hydrated because our bodies contain so much water. I am prepared to meet that challenge if it means undertaking regular hair treatments like these!
So does it work? It smells divine, it really does. I adore luscious smelling hair products! You massage it into wet hair and leave it on for 15 minutes to work its magic. It really does smell heavenly. My hair was left very soft and easy to style and looked shinier and healthy for a few days after using the treatment. An excellent boost to my lacklustre locks.
I like the fact that I can treat my hair at home whenever I want, rather than spending an extraordinary amount every few months at a salon. I am always racing out of the hairdressers back to the babysitter, so usually decline the offer of a treatment anyway due to time restraints, making this a very convenient product. And for a RRP of $15.99 I will get at least 4
treatments for my shoulder length hair.
