Miranda Kerr made an appearance at the Bellini bar at Auckland Hilton today as an ambassador for CLEAR haircare and to reveal the new television ad she stars in.

She looked absolutely stunning in a little black dress sleeveless on one side, and black stiletto heels and long, tanned limbs.

Her make-up look was heavy black eyeliner and rosy cheeks with beautiful, fresh face and red lips.

She wore her trademark brunette hair long and out in gentle waves, with a side-of-centre parting. She accessorised classically with diamond rings, a slender silver bracelet on her wrist, a black watchband, and earring studs.

Today wasn’t the launch event for CLEAR Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy – it’s been in New Zealand for some months now – but more a celebration of the relationship and the first visit of Miranda Kerr here for the haircare brand she endorses as their face and spokesmodel. She says, "With Clear, I know my hair is being fed from within."

Heavily managed by security and minders at her elbow as she mingled amongst invited guests and beauty media at the Hilton on Friday 15th February, Kerr elicited somewhat of a gasp from the crowd as she entered the room. "Oh my God she’s gorgeous" I overheard. The Australian supermodel and wife of Orlando Bloom, with year-old son Flynn, said she was "couldn’t wait to get back to her boys" and who can blame her! Kerr obligingly signed autographs, and graciously had photos with every single waiting person, after giving a short speech about the brand and showing the new TVC.

CLEAR, a Unilever brand, has a range of four shampoos and three conditioners with a holistic approach to haircare, treating the scalp rather than the traditional approach of fixing the ends. It’s priced very competitively around the $10 mark and available from supermarkets.
