With a byline of "purity, wisdom and performance," this is no ordinary line of haircare. Naturaltech has loftier ideals. It uses essential oils and is designed to contribute towards a psychological sense of well-being, not just a pretty reflection in the mirror.

That’s a big ask from your shampoo, you might think. But the new haircare range Naturaltech does just what it says on the tin; it combines the best of nature and tecnology. it’s responded to consumer demands of botanically-based haircare with efficacy to create a heavily-researched line of phytoceuticals – active biological compounds – that works, and doesn’t contain suphates and parabens.

The system has seven groups aimed at treating different hair concerns: ENERGIZING for scalp and alopecia problems, NOURISHING for dry and brittle damaged hair, PURIFYING antiseptic and anti-inflammatory products for dandruff and irritation, REBALANCING for excess sebum, DETOXIFYING for hair stressed by environmental factors, CALMING for sensitive scalps, and WELLBEING for all hair types.

Best drinks of the year to date; lab beakers with natural juices = natural + tech.

Calming Shampoo brings soothing relief to poeple with sensitised scalp. It is to be used with Calming Superactive, a concentrated treatment that is massaged in and not rinsed out.

I’ll be trying out Well-being shampoo and conditioner which is hydrating for all kinds of hair.

We have to give special mention to the stunning artwork featuring bespoke illustrations created in-house by the Naturaltech creative director. We loved her whimsical illustrations that captured each formula family perfectly and were so much more original than yet another pretty face on an ad, or a plain black and white label on a bottle.

Naturaltech is available in selected salons for retail use at home as well as treatments performed by your stylist in-salon. Retail prices are $38 each for shampoos and conditioners, $60 for Calming Superactive, $88 for Energizing Lotion, $50 for Energizing Gel, $49 for Enzyme infusion, and $70 for Well-being Massage oil.
