While trying out a new hairdresser recently I was politely told I had "fluffy" hair. This can’t be good unless you’re Rachel Hunter in the 80s but painful truths can be the catalyst for change!

Luckily my hairdresser’s helpful but hurtful quip coincided nicely with my trial of the new Biolage Styling Range from Matrix.
Biolage Styling Thermal-Active Repair Cream and Thermal-Active Repair Gloss are both enriched with Cera Heat Technology, natural botanical extracts and oils and are designed to protect and repair heat damaged hair. My fluffy/frizzy hair is the result of a recent hair straightening addiction but after using these products I will ALWAYS invest in good hair repair creams.
I particularly liked the Thermal-Active Repair Gloss as it calmed the frizz and made my hair look noticeably healthier but both products smell great and tame the hair without leaving a greasy residue. I trialled both products for two weeks and found that the results continued to improve with use. While the gloss is great for medium to coarse hair and smells of delicious coconut, the repair cream is for all hair types and is enriched with moisturising mango seed oil. And for those environmentally conscious consumers (as we all are of course!), the tube is made out of 30% recycled product.
Matrix has a great range of products so it should be easy to find something that works on all hair types and their website is worth checking out if you’re interested in expanding your hair product lingo!
And my hairdresser’s verdict on my return trip? Much better.
