Iconic British hair brand Toni&Guy has just turned 50 – and Thread attended the Auckland celebration of their 50th anniversary with a hair show of their latest trends, ARTELIER.
Boh Runga’s beautiful new venue in Cross Street Newton in inner city Auckland was the venue for the hair demonstration and presentation from Toni&Guy’s NZ national educators. Fashion and beauty media lined the room to watch the presentation of key trends – and have a glass of champagne and the most amazing chocolate cake pops- to celebrate with Toni&Guy.
ARTELIER is a collection of extremely fashion-forward looks drawing inspiration from the runways, as Toni&Guy has a long tradition of relationships with fashion designers. We watched film clips of their looks on London Fashion Week runways. Some of the looks were quite avant garde, and others were more wearable for the masses – or could be made more commercial with tweaks here and there.
